The majestic White Stallion whose forbearers have performed for generations at the Spanish riding school has become our pride and joy. Personally, he has become my favorite pet. When he is gone for training, his absence is quite obvious for all of us.
Neapolitano Savona or Fabio as he was nicknamed for his long and gorgeous mane, is truly a king among horses. He has a proven track record of over twenty foals who have developed into excellent horses.
Fabio has the personality of a family dog. He watches for us to come out and is always ready for loving. Both my daughters and my husband have ridden him. Although our intentions were quite different when we bought him, he has exceeded our expectations and he is no where near his best.
His natural collection is expected with his lineage, but his gentle and loving personality came as such a surprise.
Our initial plans with him were to geld him and turn him into a trail horse for my husband. Fortunately for us, Laura Weiner, who sold us this fabulous horse, convinced us to keep him stallion. She was so right. Not only is he an incredible horse, but he throws the most powerful and sweet tempered foals. And now that we are finally organized, we are making Neapolitano Savona available for breeding.
