Fiona is a sweet as her names implies. Princess Fiona would even be better. She is a mare that both daughters ride with love. We currently have one offspring, Neapolitano Fiona, who is showing amazing potential in the dressage arena.
Fiona was a green brood mare when we bought her with relatively no life experiences to settle her. She has been under saddle for five years and she has made great leaps and bounds. On the trails, she makes a seasoned trail horse seem unsettled. Very few things ruffle her. I have been pleasantly surprised on the trail and during the horse shows, she seems to shine. My daughter has several first place ribbons, and junior high score at a show at La Jolla in 2004.
Although
We have not bred her yet, since watching ‘Fritz’ start under training
with Brian, we are planning on breeding her again with the successful match
of our Stallion Neapolitano Savona.

Fritz was our very first Lipizzan that we bought along with Fiona in 1999. We have had the pleasure to watch him grow from a six month old colt to a beautiful young horse. Even as a colt, his sweet disposition was very obvious. I used to set him out in the arena and he would literally longe around me on voice commands without the longe line.
Brian has been working with him now and we are getting him started with David Ventura. Our most valued trainer and our horse whisperer. Under David's training, our horses have blossomed into happy and hard working horses.
Fritz has definilty inherited Neapoilano Savona’s movement and his mom’s willingness to work. His canter, at such an early stage, is energetic and smooth, showing he has also gotten the strength from his Sire. He is showing a real desire to do what is asked and as long as there is a little snack and lots of love, he will work his heart out.
Stay tuned for Fritz’ development in the dressage arena. And in the near future, he will start exploring Mount Diablo with us.
